I am on the spectrum, and what sparked me to word my search in that particular manner was that I saw a few clips of the the farewell videos the members made before committing suicide, and I was struck by the fact that I could recognize the signs of ASD on quite a few of those members. While I don’t mean to diagnose people from just seeing a video clip, or when I meet people in person, as a person with “high functioning” autism myself I have a tendency to be hyper-sensitive to the signs of autism in others. <br />I find it fascinating that you brought this up, even if it was regarding just one member. Remember that during the time period when most of these people were born, Aspergers would more than likely not have been recognized and these people would just have been thought of as quirky or awkward growing up.
